In 1954 architect A. Quincy Jones built a modernist wood, stone, and glass house for actor Gary Cooper and his wife Veronica in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles. This 5,700 square foot home, built entirely on one level, and was surrounded by 2.5 acres of lush landscaping which provided a verdant and private oasis for the actor.
