Some Mid Century Modern from Japan with this sofa designed by Taichiro Nakai in 1954. Exhibited at the Esposizione Permanente Mobili (Permanent Furniture Exhibition) it was an award-winning entry whose judges included such notable designers as Alvar Aalto, Finn Juhl, and Gio Ponti.
