Over the course of several years Swedish photographer Mikael Olsson began documenting the decay of two summer homes designed by architect Bruno Mathsson in an effort to create a record of what very well may be lost – or at least forgotten should new owners move in and attempt to ‘renovate’ without consideration for what was originally there. Steidl Verlag recently published Södrakull Frösakull, a beautiful presentation of Olsson’s project and a testament to the importance of preservation. You can check out more of Mikael Olsson’s photography here.
